The InventiveLab mission is to capture the brilliance and creativity of individuals who think and learn differently. A research lab with an associated business incubator, InventiveLabs inspires college age creative types who may not shine in a school or standard work environment. Possessing the potential to become our best and brightest, these rising entrepreneurs, artists, inventors, and scientists will learn how to launch their careers by fostering their creative spirit in an alternative work environment. The goal is to help them create new technology and products, experiment with the arts, explore scientific advancements, and start new businesses. A sampling of recent projects includes a floating kitchen island, an interactive book, a mobile app, and an outdoor storage unit that consumes virtually no space when not in use. These ideas are then turned into real business opportunities.
