Invercon LLC is an engineering firm focused on retrofittable active-surface technology for rotating machinery and wind-energy assets. Our core competency is pneumatic actuation—lightweight, low-power mechanisms originally matured on Army/Sikorsky programs and NASA/DARPA efforts—now adapted to wind turbines as trailing-edge trim tabs. These tabs are designed to reduce rotor-induced vibration, lower maintenance burden, and enable improved power output on existing fleets. We combine mechanical design, embedded control, and field integration to deliver practical retrofits that install on the blade exterior and integrate with standard turbine controls. Current work includes full-scale field testing on a GE 1.5 MW-class turbine in Pennsylvania, supported by prior $2.8M+ in competitive government R&D and protected by multiple U.S. patents.
