We started Invulnet because insurers and asset owners need better tools to understand their exposure to climate and disaster risks—and to act on it. Invulnet is a nonprofit software suite that applies catastrophe modeling principles to help insurers, asset managers, and governments diagnose vulnerability to climate and disaster risks. We translate technical risk data into actionable insights—so users can make smarter decisions about risk reduction, adaptation strategies, and insurance structuring. We also support blended finance deal origination. Invulnet helps reinsurers, development banks, and donors co-design transactions that use concessional capital to unlock new insurance-backed guarantees, premium subsidies, and parametric risk layers. Our mission is to make insurers indispensable actors in development finance—not just investors, but originators of resilience.
