The team work with world-leading manufacturing partners in the UK to translate design concepts into fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting, ceramics, soft furnishings and sheers. A flexible approach enables Iona Crawford to create entirely bespoke concepts for an array of residential and commercial interior realms and industry sectors. Working closely with an array of international brands, the design studio welcome collaboration with a cross section of industry and the team consult on a variety of interiors, fashion and lifestyle projects, as well as releasing curated interior collections under the Iona Crawford brand. On the Designer : A graduate of the acclaimed Edinburgh College of Art, Artist and Fashion Designer Iona Crawford established her eponymous brand in 2007. Inspired by nature’s vast beauty, artisanal technique and exquisite craftsmanship, Iona combines her passions for fine art and design to create a timeless yet directional aesthetic. Since the launch of her brand, Iona has enjoyed success internationally, showing her fashion and interiors collections in internationally. The brand is currently represented by showrooms throughout the US whilst collectors of her paintings span the globe. Whilst Iona’s work is directional and cements a unique design identity, a harmonious balance is struck between her vibrant, elegant use of print and its pairing with rich and tonal textiles and raw materials. The combination and contrast of each element results in a distinctive, innovative portfolio. Each painterly print is derived from an original artwork. This direct translation from concept to cloth, wall-covering and furnishing ensures the expressive style and depth of character is vivid.
