Iona Publishing

IONA Publishing is a design, publishing and licensing studio with a core focus to create bespoke designs, produce original art, provide images for licensing and publish print based items. Creative Director David Lyon's images are licensed to UK manufacturers for stationery ranges, children's and homeware products which are are distributed world-wide. 2017 - current: The English Art Co- the launch of this brand to sell original art, prints, stationery, homewares and gifts, initially featuring the works of David Lyon and soon other artists and designers. All products are made in the UK with the aim of supporting artists from the UK. 2013 - current - David Lyon Art - developed into the visual arts sector with the promotion of David Lyon Art (Creative Director at IONA and artists), organising UK exhibitions and trade shows, targeting galleries and publishers. 2002/2017 - IONA Cards - designing, publishing and marketing stationery ranges including greeting cards, christmas cards, notecards and gift-wrap and tags to customers and wholesalers. Other key areas: Print - the design, production and print of fashion and Christmas magazines, generating advertising revenue, sourcing images, producing artwork and organising distribution via direct mail to customers. In 2015 we designed, produced and distributed the Christmas Winter Magazine for Beales Department stores, generating advertising revenue and mailing to customers. Licensing - The Hungry Jungle & PowerPlay brands manufactured in a range of children’s insulated lunch products have been successful since 2004, selling in all major retailers including John Lewis, Fenwicks, Hoopers, William & Griffin, Waitrose, Lakeland, Argos, Bentalls and London Zoo. Designs are available as a range of Wallpapers manufactured and distributed in Europe and a range of Mugs by Dunoon.
