Institute of Physiologically Active Compounds of Russian Academy of Sciences (IPAC RAS) was established by the decree of Minister Soviet of USSR in May of 1978 and by decree of the Presidium of Academy of Sciences of USSR. IPAC RAS among other scientific institutes is the main structural unit of Russian Academy of Sciences and is the part of Division of General and Technical Chemistry of RAS.
