At IPEAD (Idi-Igiose People Empowerment & Development) Foundation, we draw inspiration from the rich symbolism of trees in African myths and stories. Just as trees have served as meeting points for various cultures, we've adopted 'Idi-igiose,' which means 'Under the Baobab Tree' in Yoruba, as our guiding philosophy. It signifies the place where we convene with stakeholders to devise solutions for empowerment and development challenges in our communities. Our mission revolves around people empowerment and development, recognizing them as fundamental prerequisites for sustainable and inclusive economic growth and social progress. We align our efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. To us, empowering people means equipping them with the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities they need to engage fully in economic, social, and political life. We advocate for a global response to these challenges and welcome your participation. IPEAD is a volunteer initiatives.
