IPMO Advisory is soon opening an office in Australia and Canada. Its partners including AIPMO (Association of International PMOs) are focused on training, development solutions, higher education to the MSc and DBA levels in the field of Strategy, Project Leadership and PMOs. IPMO Advisory and its partners offer courses in locations such as London, Zurich, Geneva, Copenhagen, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Riyadh, and Lisbon. History of IPMO Advisory 2002: IPMO Advisory AG originally called SmartMoves AG was founded in Zürich and focused on developing products around knowledge management. It was the only European company to offer Lotus Notes/Microsoft integration products and won runners-up to IBM’s best utilities award in Europe. 2010: The company grew in Switzerland offering CRM and Knowledge management products and consulting. 2012: The focus change to offer teaching, advisory in the field of project, program and portfolio management in Europe and the Middle East. 2016: IPMO Advisory partnered with AIPMO to support and offer certification courses in Switzerland. 2017: All AIPMO certification courses are supported including offering focus group sessions during the courses to aid in AIPMO PMO research. 2019: IPMO Advisory opens its office in Europe, North Macedonia and soon to open offices in other locations as well. It is an exciting time for IPMO Advisory with the global interest in PMOs and now focus and evidence-based materials AIPMO is in the process of producing to create the world’s first leading (research-based) International PMO Body of Knowledge including PMO standard.
