Ircad-Taiwan Aits

IRCAD, AITS is a first of its kind minimally invasive surgery (MIS) training institute established in Taiwan in collaboration with the IRCAD, EITS since 2008. Since its establishment; IRCAD, AITS has trained over surgeons in MIS. It is involved in leading research towards software solutions in medical imaging and diagnostics, surgical planning and navigation, medical instrumentation, augmented reality in surgery. OUR VISION- Establish an international MIS training center in Taiwan- Training in cutting-edge equipment towards MIS for clinical practice and in further research- Cultivate surgeons and provide them with MIS training environment in order to increase awareness of usage of MIS surgical techniques domestically and internationally- To provide a platform for academic research towards enhancements in medical technology, such as robotics and AI in surgery.
