Iredell County

Iredell County strives to provide exceptional public services in an efficient and cost-effective manner to position the County as a premiere community in which to live, work and raise a family. Located in the piedmont of North Carolina, Iredell County is intersected by Interstates 40 and 77, spans 598 square miles and includes five municipalities: the city of Statesville and the towns of Mooresville, Troutman, Harmony and Love Valley. The County houses some of the most productive farms and dairies in the state, is home to “Race City USA” (Mooresville), includes 500 miles of shoreline of the state’s largest man-made lake, Lake Norman, and is the host of the National Balloon Rally (Statesville).
