ABOUT US: Iris Audio engineer Steve Haines has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the studio from engineering many tracks for clients over the years, and also releasing his own material, both under his own name and under his new pseudonym ‘Bluum’. Steve started as a DJ in the 90’s and quickly became interested in what goes into making the tracks he was playing. This curiosity led to him enrolling on one of the first music technology courses in the UK at Coventry Technical Collage, and achieving a BTEC National Diploma on the subject. The course provided a good foundation for Steve to build his knowledge on, and in the years to follow he developed his skills to a professional standard, becoming fully efficiant with electronic music production, mixing and mastering. Steve’s commitment to quality and reliability has resulted in him working on numerous tracks which have been released on high profile record labels including Armada, FSOE UV, Cold Harbour, Vandit, Zerothree, Glasgow Underground, Perfecto and Outburst. Support has been received from respected artists such as Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Hernan Cattaneo, Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, Paul Oakenfold, Gai Barone and many others, both at gigs around the world and on their radio shows.
