Iritron has an extensive track record of successes in the fields of Plant Automation (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems), Control Room and Video-wall, Simulation, Optimization and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Systems and have more than 500 man-years of engineering experience in these fields. We have in-depth understanding of the domains and cultures of our clients in the mining, minerals & metals, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and general manufacturing industries. We have proven our ability to manage projects efficiently and to produce high quality results. Our fields of expertise encompass all the levels in the automation hierarchy. This hierarchy stretches from the Instrumentation & Electrical Systems to the PLC and SCADA Levels right through to the Plant Information System and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) level, including integration into the business/enterprise resource management (ERP) systems. In more mature environments our involvement tends towards engineering and training simulators, scheduling and process management and optimization systems. We can offer our clients either a complete turnkey project service on Automation, Simulation, Optimization and Information Systems or implementation of only a single segment of a project. All projects are done according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 quality and integrated Safety, Health and Environmental standards and we are GAMP 5 compliant. Our automation designs follow ISA-05, ISA-88, ISA-95 and ISA-106 standards. Our electrical designs are SANS 10142 compliant. We take full responsibility for the Project Management, Quality Control and Configuration Management on our part of the project. Our aim is to supply business value to our clients in all we do.
