Ironspoke Capital was founded by Travis Sun, CFA in 2018 to offer financial modeling, analysis, and advisory to companies engaged in real estate development, mergers & acquisitions, and investments. To date, he has worked on over $750M in transactions for buy-side and sell-side clients across North America in real estate, data centers, healthcare, technology, and food & beverage. Travis is also passionate on using computer programming to automate large-scale financial analysis that is physically impractical for humans. He first learned Python at the age of twelve, and completed numerous courses on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data provided by Microsoft in 2016. Since obtaining his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, Travis is continuously exploring how to integrate programming with financial analysis using different Python libraries designed for statistical analysis, monte carlo simulations, artificial intelligence, technical analysis, backtesting, and portfolio management.
