Established in August 2013, Ironwood Capital is a registered investment advisory practice dedicated to the purpose of improving the economies of my friends, family, colleagues and community. Ironwood Capital Wealth Management is a full-service wealth management firm. The core of our service offering is portfolio management for individuals, small businesses, corporations, trusts and estates. Our unique approach involves tailored investment advice coupled with portfolio construction, implementation and ongoing goals-based monitoring of the portfolio. As part of our individualized process, we utilize academically-based investment strategies designed to improve the likelihood of realizing a specific goal while minimizing the risks that are within our control. Most of our portfolios are constructed using best-in-class, low cost mutual funds but may also include individual securities, tailored to the needs of the client. In addition to our core service offering, we provide many other services as a complement to our financial planning services. Many of these services are offered in conjunction with the portfolio management service but may be offered individually as well. These services include insurance (property & casualty as well as life, health and commercial lines), estate planning, debt and cash flow analysis, asset allocation reviews, Social Security/Medicare planning, and retirement goal analysis.
