Isan Canada

ISAN Canada is a not-for-profit organization founded by the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) in 2007 to provide the ISAN - International Standard Audiovisual Number - to Canadian producers and access to users of the ISAN database. ISAN is an identification system for audiovisual content including features, documentaries, series episodes, and all versions of a work. ISAN provides a unique, permanent, and internationally-recognized identifier for each production registered. It is designed by and for creators and users of audiovisual content, from producers and other rightsholders, to broadcasters, retailers, consumers, and others. ISAN is an ISO (International Organisation for Standardization) approved standard.
