Island Architecture is a residential architectural firm specializing in both Contemporary, Vernacular and Pacific Northwest architecture. Nina designs from the"Inside Out" instead of taking a site and plopping a design onto it with no consideration for the views, sun direction and interior flow. She respects the context of the site and neighborhood, using her background in historic preservation to inform her work, but also does Contemporary Design. Nina has 35 years of experience remodeling homes, designing additions and creating new ones that look and feel as if they belong on the site.
