iSocialWatch is a pioneering nonprofit organization founded in July 2013 to raise awareness and take collective action against the real ramifications of the creeping ubiquity of hardcore pornography in our culture. iSocialWatch rapidly grew into an assertive social media watchdog, peer advocacy, complaint resolution bureau and citizen journalism experiment uncovering and picking up larger issues related to the public dissemination of hardcore pornography in digital and social media; the proliferation of criminality and violence in cyberspace; their concerning overall ubiquity in our culture; and their real impact on the mind and social behaviors of young adults and teenagers. We are dreamers and doers, product-minded professionals and experts in the fields of technology, law, consumer protection and entertainment. We strongly advocate socially responsible conducts and safeguards necessary for the coexistence of communities of all ages, with various opinion, legal and moral restrictions regarding sexually explicit material and violence. iSocialWatch is not an anti-porn movement and does not support antiporn actions. We do not condemn nor judge the production, distribution and private consumption of pornography as protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution. While iSocialWatch is neither politically nor religiously motivated, we do strongly object to the public dissemination of hardcore pornography and abusive content on digital and social media. To define "public", we consider whether or not the material can be found by someone who is not looking for it. To define "abusive", we consider whether or not the material or conduct could be legally displayed or carried in real world public place, under bright light. iSocialWatch currently focuses its efforts on issues and solutions related to psychology, sexuality, education and safety in cyberspace. We target maximum and measurable impact for proven results, and don't settle for less.
