Isvaari Foundation

Isvaari Foundation is a nonprofit, spiritual organisation founded in 2015 near Coimbatore, India, by Astrologer Sudha Shastri. It hosts the Isvaari Astrology Center, which offers astrology programs under the name Isvaari Astrology. The foundation is run "almost entirely" by volunteers. The word isvaari means "A ruler, divine and the goddess of fortune. This name is also popularly believed to be associated with Goddesses Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswati." Activities The foundation organises gatherings (spiritual awakening classes) with Sudha Shastri in the Indian states. where she delivers discourses, leads meditations, and conducts question-answer sessions. It organises annual pilgrimages (yatras) to Kedarnath Dham and the Himalayas. The Kedarnath pilgrimage led by Astrologer Sudha Shastri is among the one of the largest groups to visit kedarnath, with 212 pilgrims making the journey in 2019. The trip costed up to Rs ₹1 million, with cheaper options available in which devotees receive limited interaction with Sudha Shastri. The centre hosts an annual seven-day-long worship (hawan) and dance festival culminating in the all-night celebration of Maha Shivaratri, a major Hindu festival honouring Shiva.
