Founded in 2020, the ITAM Forum is a not-for-profit trade body run by ITAM professionals for ITAM professionals. It has two specific objectives- To create - and be a caretaker of - the new ISO/IEC 19770-1 organisational certification program so organisations can demonstrate the quality of their ITAM practices; and - To educate and evangelise to encourage more companies to do ITAM, with a focus on business value, and to attract new professionals into the industry.
