itech prevent was founded by Viacam, a swiss innovative company since 2004. Better performance” The solution is oriented towards two axes: PRODUCT: itech prevent offers systems to detect the wearing of personal protective equipment. iPED is a safety equipment checking device, which confirms that safety glasses are correctly worn when required. It notifies a deviation immediately by acoustic or visual warnings. SERVICE: Another product of itech prevent is iPRAS. With iPRAS, relevant events and their periodicity will automatically be stored and categorized in a database, providing detailed data as well as a summary table. This process enhances safety leader’s effectiveness by providing factual and robust evidence to support decision making or to coach involved employees. itech prevent checks the safety level at a CCPS (Critical Control Point of Safety). The service is recording only relevant events by taking into account one or more capital safety rules for optimal data treatment. By this way, hazardous situations are measured and notified.
