Ideal Thermal Processes Ltd or “ITP” is new but has commitment, backing and ongoing underwriting of projects and warranties from equipment manufacturers and from some of the very best professionals and specialists in the industry. We firmly believe this is unique and puts us in an enviable position of being able to provide ideal equipment and solutions without restriction to a certain technology or catalogue of equipment. It means we can form the ideal package according to our customers’ needs. ITP is the brainchild of Mark Wells who has been in and around induction heating since 1997 and has a history of improving applications and equipment in diverse environments whether it be curing of adhesives in car doors, straightening decks on ships or removing tough coatings on steel structures to name a few. Wells says “I’m an applications guy through and through but my aim is not only to provide a good process but to provide the most suitable system hence the choice of company name Ideal Thermal Processes Ltd. Ideal means “best possible” and the best possible solution will be a combination of the right equipment and procedures to achieve optimum performance and ultimately the best value.” “Of course you know me from induction heating and I will be bringing all of my experience in that technology along with my colleagues’ & partners’ in induction and other technologies such as conduction heating or IR. With such a team and the choice of components I’m convinced this fresh approach will transform some applications and create new benchmarks in usability, performance and value.” In the very near future we will begin introducing an Ideal range of standardised systems tailored for specific applications such as deck & bulkhead straightening, pre-heating, shrink-fitting, coating removal, curing and more. Regarding induction heating we can provide systems between 3kW & several Megawatts and 2 to 500kHz, coils can be flexible cables or bespoke copper depending on your needs.
