iy SYNAPSIS ARCHITECTS is an architecture and interior design practice based in Athens, founded by Ioanna Polymenea and Yiannis Stamou. We design for contemporary living, in dialogue with the Mediterranean light, climate and the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor space. Our work is guided by balance, context and detail. We start from how a space is used and how it connects to its built and natural surroundings, and we translate this into clear compositions, soft transitions, integrated elements and carefully selected materials. Precision in drawings and coordination with all specialists are essential parts of our process. We undertake architectural and interior projects for residential, healthcare, workplace and hospitality environments, providing complete services from concept and permitting to construction drawings and site coordination, so that the initial design intent is delivered in the built result.
