We do not have paid reviewers; all we do is provide you a platform where you can read these reviews and make quick decisions. IYak was conceptualized in 2014 by two entrepreneurs who, over dinner one evening, found that they were both sharing stories of inadequate customer service received from shops and services that they patronized. A common thread today in Nigeria is that people are always asking for a good mechanic, a great tailor, a reliable carpenter, a punctual plumber, a reasonably priced restaurant, a hotel for business travelers with great customer service. Needless to say, a lot of us have been frustrated on several occasions with the level of customer service we receive from and with the providers that we pay our hard earned money to. iYak serves to change this – by providing an online platform where you can share your experience for others to view. This way, you are not only sharing your voice with others but you are helping to elevate the level of customer service in this country. You will also help to develop our artisans and small and medium based enterprises when you share your compliments, praise and accolades about their work with the world.
