J-Factor Embedded Technologies is a startup high technology company that specializes in the design and manufacture of embedded computing hardware and software. Products currently being designed include Bluetooth Low Energy Wireless for the sports and fitness industry and small form factor embedded computers based on the SMARC module computing architecture. The SMARC module embedded computers are targeted to be used in Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Display products used in High-end agriculture – e.g. combines, sprayers and specialty harvesters, High-end construction – e.g. specialized road construction, concrete pumps, Cargo/Terminal – e.g. heavy and specialized trucks, mobile cranes, Marine – e.g. Propulsion controls, bridge panels, dock equipment. Other industries of interest include Gaming/Entertainment, Point Of Sales/Point of Information and Industrial Control.
