Jay Landa grew up in McAllen, Texas, where his Mother ran a successful jewelry business. After attending The University of Texas in Austin he worked for the Gap and DKNY and in opened J. Silver in Houston's Rice Village as a house of brands. As the business evolved, so did Jay's passion to design. The highly curated store is still in its original Rice Village location and now is anchored by the J-Landa brand. The brand harnesses a passion for style, travel, art, culture, religions and history. “Each of my pieces represents what I’m feeling at the time and tells a story,” says Jay. In the Fall of 2015 the J-Landa brand was launched online to share with you his unique ability to deliver one-of-a-kind exclusives and core pieces.
