Jacksboro EDC implements their vision, with an emphasis on land use, transportation, entrepreneurship, tourism and the environment, for the purpose of job creation and increasing the wealth of the people of Jacksboro. The JEDC Board of Directors, along with Executive Director, Brenda Tarpley, are committed to an economic development strategy that retains the small town values that distinguish Jacksboro life, encourages cooperation between the city and county governments and strives for diversification of the economic base. They continue to set goals and priorities each year, following a strategic plan, that serves as a road map to our successful growth and community improvement.
