JCG was founded in 2006 by Dean L. Jackson. Dean grew up in Japan. Traveling between his home in Fukuyama and the states, Dean soon acquired the necessary skills to successfully interact cross culturally. After studying at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, Dean eventually ended up in Provo, UT. He brought with him his unique perspective and skills he had learned as a boy, in doing so, he quickly realized that there was a need for cultural training not just with regard to foreign cultures, but on a smaller localized scale, here in the US. Dean has always sought understanding not just for himself but for those around him. It is with that in mind that JCG was formed.
