Jacobson Lopez is a white collar boutique in Washington, D.C. We conduct internal investigations, defend against government investigations, advise on compliance programs and with regard to compliance issues, and represent individuals in criminal and regulatory matters. Billy Jacobson served as the Assistant Chief for FCPA Enforcement in the U.S. DOJ, as the Chief Compliance Officer of Weatherford International and, while in private practice as an independent compliance monitor appointed by the U.S. DOJ, SEC and Brazilian MPF. Jonathan Lopez served for 11 years at the Justice Department, including as Deputy Chief of the Bank Secrecy Act Unit of the Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture Section; as a Trial Attorney in the Fraud Section where he tried several cases including concerning the ENRON matter; and as an AUSA in Miami, Florida.
