Jaga Semesta, led by Fainta Negoro, is a movement dedicated to preserving and restoring the precious springs and clean water sources of Indonesia. Our primary goal is to raise awareness among the general population about the critical state of these vital resources. Lack of awareness and care has led to their degradation, making it imperative to engage communities in proactive solutions. Through engaging content and interactions with ecocentric-minded individuals, we're fostering an inclusive community that transcends borders. Volunteers, both in the field and behind the scenes, are the backbone of our movement. Together, we're committed to restoring one to two springs annually and halting the Java water crisis by 2040. With the support of environmental activists, sustainability practitioners, and water experts from esteemed institutions like Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jejakin, Water Stewardship Indonesia, Bamboo Foundation, and the Global Water Partnership South East Asia, we're confident in our ability to achieve our vision.
