Headquartered in New Delhi, INDIA, Jaina Group offers wide range of mobile communication devices and consumer electronics to meet the needs of evolving Indian consumers. Almost four decades ago in 1991, Jaina Group's founder Mr. Pardeep Kumar Jain started business with distribution of renowned home appliances brands. A little later in the year 1995, Jaina Marketing & Associates was formed which emerged as a strong name in the mobile handset distribution business. Between 1995 until 2008, Jaina Group introduced and launched distribution of many mobile handset brands in different parts of India such as Nokia, HTC etc. In the year 2009, Jaina Group introduced its own mobile phone brand Karbonn and sold over 2.5 million handsets in a month. With the entry of smart phones in India, Karbonn further added its range of Karbonn smartphones in the year 2013. In the year 2013, Jaina entered in an exclusive agreement with Panasonic to launch Panasonic range of smartphones in India. In the year 2018, Jaina group acquired Chinese smartphone brand Gionee. In the year 2019, Jaina Group entered into a strategic partnership with Japanese leading consumer electronic brand Sansui and Nakamichi which has a large following in the Indian consumer electronics market. In the year 2020, Jaina Group further added mobile accessories business under the umbrella brand Gionee.
