Established in 2001, Jamarko is a socially driven enterprise based in Nepal, dedicated to environmental sustainability and inclusive economic empowerment. What began as a small cottage industry has evolved into a purpose-led organization at the intersection of recycling, craftsmanship, and community development. We specialize in producing recycled paper and eco-friendly paper products, crafted from waste paper collected through local networks. Our process not only diverts paper waste from landfills but also transforms it into high-quality, handmade products for conscious consumers and businesses. In addition to recycled materials, we proudly incorporate Lokta paper—a traditional Nepali paper made from the native Lokta plant—celebrated for its resilience, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
