Back in 1993, Jassim Al-Misnad assumed the role of the first CEO, followed by his brother Hamad Al-Misnad who led the company the longest, subsequently followed by their third brother Misnad Al-Misnad, the current CEO. Under their leadership, the company evolved from a real estate developer to a host of businesses – building materials, oil and gas, engineering and farming. Today, Professor Sheikha Abdulla Al-Misnad serves as Jamco’s Chairman. Her approach focuses on streamlining operations in order to save on resources without sacrificing efficiency and ensuring further growth of the company. Professor Al Misnad believes that successful leadership is sustained by creating a trust-based environment, where employees and colleagues collaborate and empowered to promote positive change. Prior to stepping into her role as Jamco’s Chairman, Prof. Al-Misnad has made significant contributions to Qatar’s education sector in various roles, including serving as Qatar University’s fifth President. She had been actively involved with the Supreme Education Council and was a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Foundation for Education Science and Community Development since
