We are a Portuguese rooftop-tent company founded in by José Alcino and his son Mario Martins, whose rugged experience making military-grade shelters during the 1960s Angolan War of Independence shaped the brand’s DNA. Our tents are handcrafted in small batches in Porto, rigorously field-tested by adventurers (including a former Paris-Dakar driver), and backed by an industry best 5-year warranty. We source our hard shells from Milan, Italy, our canvas fabrics from the Netherlands and threads from Germany. We are known for pioneering several innovations—like the first automatic-opening shell tent (2005), a clamshell “Space” model with extended living front (2011), and panoramic 360° windows—and offer over 200 color options. Our product line includes highly technical models such as the Odyssey (built for extreme cold) and the Grand Raid XL (a spacious tent that can comfortably 3 adults with room for extra cargo on top).
