As part of that mission, the James Howell Foundation creates philanthropic initiatives that enable art professionals, curators, and artists, to further cultural advancement through humanistic endeavors. Our philanthropic work is based upon the precept that art is knowledge and therefore essential to an awareness and understanding of our world. The James Howell Foundation plans to increase public access to James Howell’s work and archives as part of its service to the art community.
