We are a Media and Digital Technology for Development company based in Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Our story begins in 2005 in the Northern part of Tanzania when our founder Mr. Mike Mushi developed a first-of-its-kind election news aggregator website to monitor elections and provide room for discussions. Having founded Jamii Forums at the age of 16, our founder has revolutionized how people report and consume news online. As a solo tech entrepreneur, he has contributed to developing online safe spaces for discussions around governance issues. What has started as a one-person interest in internet-based enterprises; has grown into a full-service technology company focusing on development programs and social change. The firm envisions a people-centered development based on sustainable and shared growth and free from abject poverty.
