Jawonio is known for being the place “where miracles happen every day”. Jawonio is the premiere provider of lifespan services for people with special needs. Overview: Jawonio is a New York-based non-profit with service locations in all Rockland and Westchester Counties. In Rockland, all children and adult day, employment and residential are the centerpieces of services, and in Yonkers, our primary services are for adults at our main location in Yonkers. Jawonio operates two successful businesses in the region including a commercial cleaning company as well as a Lego resale Both entities provide vocational skills, job training and supports leading to employment opportunities. Jawonio has been recognized as a hub of innovation and inclusion and a community resource for disabilities, mental health and clinical services.
