JAZZ ARTS PROJECT INC is a non-profit performing arts organization based in Red Bank, New Jersey, United States. Jazz Arts Project presents, performs, educates, and preserves the important legacy, influence, and role of jazz music in all its forms, for the enrichment of diverse local, regional, and statewide constituencies through collaborative community outreach efforts, high quality professional performances, as well as transformative educational workshops, classes, camps, and other programs easily accessible for all area youth. JA produces these concerts and events to honor and present jazz music as an art form rather than as background for an annual dinner or cocktail hour. In what is perhaps a unique funding model, JA uses proceeds from these concert events —ticket sales, merchandise, advertising, sponsorships, and donations—to fund our various music education programs. In this way, linkage between our “Concert Mission” & our “Social Mission” is realized.
