Jazz Poetry Cafe

Jazz Poetry Café is a soulful ambient musical performance and spoken word event with the sounds of PROFOUND POETRY, DELICIOUS FOOD, as well as, a LIVE BAND providing Smooth Jazz, Neosoul, R&B and Great Singing! It's the epitome of elegance personified through rich culture in an inspirational atmosphere! It's a place where you can safely let go of all of your inhibitions and enjoy yourself! It's a platform for up and coming artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their gifts and talents to a community otherwise unaware! It's the meeting of ALL NATIONS under ONE ROOF. In a natural setting, sharing a SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE! We are passionate about music and spoken word poetry as genres of entertainment, a tool to increase the level of literacy in society, a means of livelihood for the artists and a medium of communication among people. NOT ONLY in Jacksonville, but across the globe! Our dream is to promote artists so we can create a means of employment where they can earn a living from their amazing performances and written materials… To transition them from where they are… To where they want to be!
