Jed Talks

JED Talks are just like TED Talks but our tag line is "Ideas Not Worth Spreading". All the same earnest, world-changing, big picture vision but with terrible, terrible ideas. JED Talks started off as a live event stage show using comedians that Matt Stillman knew from the improv and stand-up community giving these talks. Kurt Braunohler led off the night with a talk about the emerging solution to the energy, obesity and over-full prison problems that the US is struggling with. Six other comedians gave talks ranging from a new approach for the search for alien life to new forms of book design. We want to expand the stage show into a television show and build a fully fledged JED Talks world.
