Jefag ICD is strategically situated in the Kurasini Industrial Area in Temeke District. The plot is within the port area and just 1Km from the main port terminals TPA and TICTS. It is also close to various shipping lines, transporters, clearing and forwarding offices and large industrial areas of Dar es Salaam. JEFAG covers a total area of 20,323 square meters which is distributed on two separate levels due to the natural landscape. The yard on the lower level covers an area of square meters with a maximum capacity of 1400 TEUS. The higher level of the depot of approximately square meters holds the offices for JEFAG, TPA and TRA along with covered warehousing and both 20ft and 40ft Verification Sheds.
