Jeff Hunt Construction

Heritage Construction was founded by Jeff Hunt. Having grown up in the residential and commercial construction business, he was involved in every aspect of his father’s construction company. After obtaining a B.S. degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M, Jeff worked as a Field Engineer, Estimator and Project Manager for two of the country’s largest commercial general contractors, and worked on several multi-million dollar projects including a luxury hotel and resort, a high school, a hospital, numerous other commercial buildings. After earning an MBA from Texas A&M in 1989, Jeff left the construction industry to pursue a career in business and technology consulting, working as a consultant with a “Big 5” consulting firm. A downturn in the technology sector happened to coincide with reaching age 40, and after some serious self-examination and soul-searching, he decided to “return to his roots”. The company name was chosen to honor his father’s memory, continue in his footsteps, and in recognition of being the 4th generation of Hunt family “Aggies” dating back to 1885.
