Jefferson Credit Union

Jefferson Credit Union is a financial institution based in Hoover, Alabama. Anyone in Jefferson County or any of the surrounding counties can become a member for life with an initial deposit of $5. Our members have access to home mortgages, auto loans, checking accounts, savings accounts, CD's, and many other banking services. We have 4 locations-Hoover, Downtown Birmingham, Hueytown, and Fultondale, with more branches on the way soon! We are a not-for-profit institution, meaning all the profits that we make are given back to our members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, etc. This is different from a bank because banks' profits all go to their shareholders.
