We have gone beyond traditional backup and restore into actual information delivery. This service uses a LAN appliance methodology. This unit is "set and forget". Data is automatically backed up. The primary backup is kept on the client's site to preserve speed and security. All data is fully encrypted on site. An off site copy of the encrypted, non-accessible data is maintained elsewhere. The entire service is monitored by a third party, who can verify the process but has no access to data. Users are explicitly authorized with a user name and password to use the Jera local area web interface. Finally access requires that the AES private key is present. An authorized user with a key now as access to their set of records which include all copies (usually every day). Not just yesterday but everyday. And they have it transparently at the speed of their LAN. This is neat technology that works!
