The Jersey Consumer Council works on behalf of all consumers in the Island, by: • Researching and highlighting issues that affect shoppers and service users. • Comparing the prices of goods and services in Jersey. • Giving Islanders the facts they need to make informed decisions. As the consumers’ champion, we investigate consumer problems, share clear and reliable information, and raise awareness of unfair practices. Over the years, the Council has received thousands of consumer complaints and queries, about issues ranging from prices, delivery charges and high bills to poor customer service, consumer rights and the cost of living. As ‘a voice for consumers’, our mission is to represent Islanders’ interests fairly, and to help them get the information that they need, or to resolve an ongoing situation.
