Here at Jersey Shore Pharmacy we are leaders in compounding. Compounding is defined as the art and science of creating personalized medications. Medication is not a one size fits all approach. Almost all pharmacies can legally compound, however we are one of very few that are USP compliant as well as USP compliant for sterile compounding. Compounded medications are “made from scratch”–allowing the pharmacist to work with both the patient and the prescriber to customize a medication to meet an individual’s specific need.
