Jewish House has been at the forefront of crisis services in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs since 1983, providing 24/7 support to individuals and families from all walks of life, regardless of religion, culture, or background. We offer a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space for people experiencing crisis, including homelessness, domestic violence, mental health challenges, addiction, and trauma. Our highly skilled and dedicated team responds with urgency and care, helping individuals access the support they need when they need it most. Like an emergency room for emotional and practical crisis, our approach is fast, thorough, and relentless. Every year, we support thousands of people with health, welfare, and social services, working holistically to address emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Our services include crisis accommodation, case management, mental health and addiction support, and connections to long-term care when needed. We don’t just intervene during crisis, we work proactively to prevent it and provide intensive short-term support to help people transition back to stable, independent lives.
