Jhub Defence

The jHub is the central innovation hub for UK Defence’s Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC). We work at the intersection of Defence and industry, using user-centred design to rapidly pilot novel capabilities (technology, processes, services) in a matter of weeks. By repurposing proven technologies from other sectors, we deliver constructive disruption and accelerate transformational change across Defence. Our team of innovation scouts find, field, and work with CSOC to fund new capabilities, aligned with our Commander's objectives for the organisation. We provide a lean, methodology-based innovation mechanism to all parts of UK CSOC, bringing together expertise from across Defence and beyond. Our mission: to bridge the gap between emerging technology and operational need, giving Defence users the tools to stay faster, smarter, and stronger in a constantly evolving environment.
