JK Retirement is a Later Life and Retirement coaching service whose mission is twofold: 1. To assist company leaders and managers in considering how they might help their staff prepare for retirement and outplacement after the age of 50 and also to help all members of the company, from CEO downwards, to plan for life after work. To assist people who have already retired in bringing structure and meaning to their lives in order to help them avoid the drift and depression that often sets in after full time work comes to an end. JKRetirement provides the following services: For Companies: i) pre-retirement presentations (including a planning excercise) as part of day long pre-retirement seminars ii) half or whole day pre-retirement seminars pre-retirement coaching for individual memvbers of staff and where appropriate their partners For Individuals and Couples: i) half or whole day post-retirement seminars ii) individual retirement coaching retirement coaching for couples iv) family coaching around the issue of retirement. Jan King is a qualified Life Coach and Family and Marital Therapist with many years experience of working with individuals, couples and groups. She has experience of a major career change, and she has retired once herself, an experience which gives her insight into the pitfalls of retiring without having a Later Life plan in place.
