Jlrd, Inc

JLRD, Inc. is a privately owned Florida consulting engineering firm providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design. The firm has worked across Florida since 1991, with offices in West Palm Beach, Merritt Island, Jacksonville, and Tampa, and select projects out of state. JLRD supports education, healthcare, government and public institutions, utilities and infrastructure, transportation and aviation, industrial, hospitality, commercial, and mission-critical facilities. JLRD's work spans the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and detailed systems design through construction administration, commissioning, and closeout. Services are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and professional judgment, with attention to constructability, coordination, and long-term system performance. The firm is known for disciplined QA/QC practices, clear communication, and early coordination with owners, architects, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). This approach supports predictable execution on projects where schedule sensitivity, compliance, public exposure, and system reliability carry meaningful consequences. JLRD is an engineering-first firm and has stayed privately owned as the industry consolidates, which lets it make decisions around the work and the client. The firm collaborates with architects, general contractors, and owners on new construction and renovation across the state. MEP/FP Engineering. Since 1991.
