Jo spent her first 20 years within the finance sector gaining experience in various sectors of the industry (Lending, Wealth Management, Money Market and Custody) before, taking a Custodian Trustee role, which sparked her interest in Compliance. After some time at the regulator gaining practical hands-on experience in various roles within the then Investment Business Division, Jo moved into consultancy. During this time Jo provided Compliance Officer and MLRO support, training and health checks to clients in the Investment (Funds, Private Equity, Wealth and Custody), Insurance (Intermediary and Captive), Fiduciary (Trust and Corporate Services) and Estate Agent sectors. Having then spent three years as Head of Compliance and MLRO at a Wealth Management firm, Jo decided that consultancy was her passion and JML Compliance Solutions was born.
